In July 2019. The Railcar Farmers Market enjoyed its first week at its new location at Cooper and N. Main St.
Surrounded by a wall of trees on either side, the cooler venue was a hit with both vendors and customers. The farmers market has been a huge success for Van Alstyne and the new location looks to make a good thing even better.
In April, 2019, the Texas Department of Agriculture officially recognized the Railcar Farmers Market of Van Alstyne as a Certified Farmers Market!
Van Alstyne becomes only the 72nd city in the State of Texas to be officially recognized.
